Project Overview
Five years after purchasing this house, these homeowners were ready for an exterior renovation. First on their agenda was the roof. The roof was an older three-tabbed shingle installed 20 years prior and was showing signs of damage. After going over some options, they expressed interest in a shingle that offered a great warranty and stayed within budget. Therefore, we provided them the CertainTeed Landmark Pro 50-Year shingle with CertainTeed’s Integrity Roofing System. CertainTeed’s Integrity Roofing System offers homeowners an extended SureStart Plus warranty by taking the traditional SureStart protection and adding full coverage up to 50 years depending on the protection plan chosen.
In addition, these homeowners were in the market to install new siding on the home.

Specifically, they were looking to install D4 vinyl siding on the sides and back of the house with an accent shingle siding to match the front. The existing siding was wood cedar shingles that needed to be stripped before the installation. Thus, allowing us to inspect the sheathing for any rot or unknown damage. After our crew inspected the sheathing under the wood shingles, we began installing CertainTeed Monogram D5 Sable Brown vinyl siding on the sides and back of the home. Then, we installed Certainteed D7 Sable Brown Cedar Impressions on the front elevation of the house. Additionally, we also installed an entry door on this home. Finally, we wrapped up this job, installing a new gutter and downspouts, and wrapped all fascia, rakes, and trim in a white aluminum coil.
