Project Overview
This roofing project was undoubtedly a transformation from the old three-tabbed shingles to the new architectural shingles. When our salesman assessed the roof, it was clear the three tabbed shingles began to fail in multiple different sections. After going over the scope of work, the homeowners decided to install CertainTeed Landmark Pro Charcoal Black Architectural shingles. Once our crew began stripping the old shingles, they noticed an issue with the existing roof decking towards the right elevation. The issue resulted in replacing a few pieces of plywood to ensure any rot was removed. In addition to the roof, we also replaced the staircase at the back deck using pressure-treated decking. The stairs posed a serious risk and needed to be addressed immediately.
