These homeowners were interested in an exterior transformation and were interested in updating their existing curb appeal with replacement windows and new vinyl siding. In addition to the windows and siding, we replaced all the fascia boards and re-wrapped them with white aluminum coverage. After meeting with the salesman and reviewing the scope of work, these homeowners chose to go with CertainTeed Savanah Wicker D4 Mainstreet vinyl siding and Paradigm 8300 series vinyl windows. Initially, we were re-installing all gutters and downspouts per the homeowner’s request. After closer inspection, the seam on the back of the downspouts started to break. As a precautionary measure to ensure water would drain through the downspouts and away from home, we encouraged replacing these. Additionally, we advised the homeowners that these split seams behind the downspouts could increase the chances of water damage and other issues down the road.
