Project Overview
This home presented a few challenges and much-needed exterior work to whip it back into shape. After going over the work scope with our salesman, these homeowners wanted to install new vinyl siding, replacement windows, and gutters.
Our crews first installed new ledger boards, aluminum coverage, and gutters while we waited for our back-ordered materials to come in due to the restrictions placed on our manufacturers.
Once the vinyl siding came in, we started to strip the exterior wood clapboard. After stripping the house, our crews ran into extensive rot on the home’s side and back sections. We needed to repair this rot to prevent further damage down the line. After assessing the rot damage and going over it with the homeowner, we began replacing all the rotted sheathing and studs. Lastly, our crews installed new Silverline 8600 replacement windows and capped the exterior trim with white aluminum coverage.
